The Engineering Student Advisory Board has focused on diversity and inclusion as an underpinning to all of its work. Over the past three years the Student Advisory Board has:
- Helped shape the diversity and inclusion plan for engineering, and helped execute elements of the plan
- Created a new engineering commencement speaker process
- Co-hosted SoE Town Halls
- Advised on enhancing undergrad advising
- Help revamp first year graduate student support through more focused and better dissemination of information through orientations
- Hosted mental health community conversations and created a mental health website
