Graduate programs of study in engineering are custom to the learner. Ph.D. students should discuss the courses they would like to take with their advisor to create a program that best matches their intended area of research and is aligned with their previous coursework. (Ph.D. students should plan to discuss with their advisor each semester prior to registering for courses.)
Master's student should meet with their advisor at their orientation and/or the start of the semester and share their intended program of study for advice and approval.
