Brown Engineering is recruiting candidates with an established excellence in research, and a good publication record, to apply as postdoctoral researchers to the Hope Street Postdoctoral Fellow program. Eligible applicants will have received their Ph.D. degree in engineering, or an engineering-related discipline, or who expect to do so by June of the current academic year.
We will consider applications for the areas of: Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Fluids and Thermal Sciences, Materials Science, and Solid Mechanics (please view more details on our key areas of research focus to determine if you are a match for our research programs.) Successful candidates will be expected to carry out independent and collaborative research with engineering faculty members.
These named Hope Street Postdocs will receive an annual salary plus benefits, and a travel stipend. Initial appointment is for one year, with expected renewal for second year given satisfactory progress.
