Yuri Bazilevs, E. Paul Sorensen Professor of Engineering, has been named to the 2019 Highly Cited Researchers List by Clarivate Analytics. This list recognizes world-class researchers selected for their exceptional research performance, demonstrated by production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in Web of Science.
According to Web of Science, Bazilevs has published 138 papers which have been cited more than 13,500 times. His most popular paper, "Isogeometric analysis: CAD, finite elements, NURBS, exact geometry and mesh refinement" has been cited over 2,300 times. He has two other papers which have been cited more than 500 times. Bazilevs has an h-index, a measure of both scholarly productivity and impact, of 59. He has an average of 98.1 citations per publication and 902.6 citations per year. Bazilevs has continuously made the highly cited researchers list since 2014.
