School of Engineering Hosts Fourth Annual Career Fair

On Saturday, January 24, 2015, the School of Engineering will host its fourth annual internship and career fair from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Sayles Hall. More than 250 students and over 20 companies are expected to attend.

"The career fair has continued to grow and expand each year. The growth has been so dramatic that we had to move to a bigger venue this year, Sayles Hall," said Associate Dean Jennifer Casasanto. "It continues to demonstrate that Brown engineers are in demand in the workforce." Among the other changes anticipated for this year – the career fair will be divided up into four sections for companies looking to hire for full-time jobs, those hiring for jobs and internships, those hiring for internships only, and companies providing information sessions, but not hiring immediately. This will allow seniors to more easily navigate toward the companies hiring for full-time employment, while permitting underclassmen to focus more on internships.

Among the companies expected to attend this year's fair are: Analog Devices, Bay Computer Associates, Bosch, Charles River Analytics, Cognex, Corning, Cummins, Dell SecureWorks, Euro-Pro, Draper Laboratory, Joule, Raytheon, Saint-Gobain, Sensata Technologies, Teknor Apex, Teledyne LeCroy and Teledyne Webb Research, Tyco, Ximedica, and many more.

Companies interested in attending the career fair should contact Associate Dean Jennifer Casasanto at Jennifer_Casasanto@brown.edu in order to reserve a spot.

Students wishing to attend must register by Saturday, January 17, 2014, using only a Brown University e-mail address at the following link: https://docs.google.com/a/brown.edu/forms/d/1XZQcBqYTtq9Hr3a98CIjQf8vsMtEH8Vy3zH4JJ3yUaU/viewform
