On Saturday, January 25, 2014, the School of Engineering will host its third annual internship and career fair at Barus and Holley. More than 200 students and over 30 companies are expected to attend.
"The career fair has continued to grow and expand and we expect to see several new companies participating this year," said Associate Dean Rob Rome. "It continues to demonstrate that Brown engineers are in demand in the workforce – both in terms of internship and job placement possibilities."
Among the new companies expected to attend this year's fair are: Broadcom, Fitbit, Genzyme, Medtronic, NASA, Nest, Pebble, Salesforce, Strem Chemicals, Teledyne LeCroy, and Utilidata.
Several companies have continued to return year after year and are expected to be at this year's career fair, including Analog Devices, Bay Computer Associates, Dassault Systems, DPR Construction, Draper Laboratory, Gilbane Building Company, Microsoft, and Oracle.
Companies interested in attending the career fair should contact Associate Dean Rob Rome at Robert_Rome@brown.edu in order to reserve a spot.
