Brown School of Engineering Associate Professor Ian Y. Wong has joined the editorial board of the Annual Review of Biomedical Engineering. The aim of the publication is to cover the “significant developments in the broad field of biomedical engineering, including biomechanics, biomaterials, computational genomics and proteomics, tissue engineering, biomonitoring, health care engineering, drug delivery, bioelectrical engineering, biochemical engineering, and biomedical imaging.”Wong has been a faculty member at Brown since 2013 with scientific interests in mechanobiology, biomaterials, cancer technologies, and unconventional soft/nano fabrication. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University in 2010 and completed postdoctoral research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in 2013.
