The CRS is a weekly meeting of engineering graduate students that allows participants to give research talks in a low stakes environment, often in preparation for conferences etc. Typically we provide food weekly.

The Graduate Engineering Council (GEC) is the primary political and social body for graduate students at Brown.  The GEC is made up of representatives from each department and of officers elected from the entire graduate student population. The GEC holds monthly meetings and offers many events and free classes throughout the year.

WiFTS is a group of graduate and post-docs in Fluids and Thermal Sciences Engineering. Our goals are primarily to support and empower women in engineering at the graduate and postdoctoral levels by providing community, professional exchange, mentorship, and advocacy. We collaborate with the Fluid Engineering Seminar Series whenever there are female speakers to connect our students with female role models.
