Faculty and students in technology innovation and entrepreneurship conduct both quantitative and qualitative social science research relevant to the advancement and adoption of both incremental and disruptive technologies. Levels of analysis vary from institutional considerations of government agencies, corporations, and technology transfer offices, to individual considerations of venture capitalists, technology entrepreneurs, corporate intrapreneurs, technology transfer leaders, and end users.
The group’s research is supportive of Brown’s broader entrepreneurship initiatives directed by the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship.
